Where the bells are ringing...
2017, Tuesday, January the 10th, while we, at Casa Agradavel, are waiting for a technician to solve the problems with our telephone connection, the local TV is broadcasting, for over an hour long, without any comment, images of Google Earth screenshots, discussing aid workers and a pool of blood on a pedestrian crossing, which has been left behind after an accident involving two deaths, a waitress in Loudoun, U.S. , chargers the bill for lunch to some guests and finds besides the metered amount of money a written note at the bottom of the account; "Good service, but we do not give tips to Blacks", something that, in the America of Trump, just qualifies under freedom of insult and discrimination. Meanwhile, in the cottage on the lonely hill, our four-legged family member sleeps peacefully in front of the wood-burning stove, the wind is raging around the house and it smells lovely in the garden ... the neighbour is into smoking ham...
