An online psychological consultation

Wednesday, February the 22nd, day 53 by the year 2017. "You are one of those many new patients who suffers from a de-standardisation syndrome", said the online psychologist yesterday evening during a skype interview with the sawdust maker. "Other than people who are simply customizing and adapting to new circumstances, you try to get the speed out of the evolution". And Yes, of course the Shrinker made a good point . On the lonely Hill, in a society where traditions and manners slowly reach the freedom of Western 70 's, the need for change is not so great. "The dubious symptoms are altruism, tolerance, compassion and moral elevation", the man explained, while looking into our the kitchen by the laptop screen, "The suspected mental illness is a threat to your personal future and success, and it also creates moral issues that slow down the progress towards a new society". After a few hours, 6 cups of coffee and half a package of tobacco, sitting in the dark for a closed laptop, having thoughts of reflection on the diagnosis, the only conclusion I could come up with was that being highly educated is no yardstick for determining one's sense. It could of course be the result of all that sawdust, but the self-protecting properties of my brain started talking quit quickly. The new normal, in which freedom of expression consists of offending, insulting, discriminating and a selfish looking away at other people's persecution, the qualification as strange or abnormal elevate to a positive feature as the main entry on a personal resume. The world around me seems so real, but at the same time also so different from the world that is presented by politicians in TV talkshow chats and on the ever playing radio. Seen from the lonely Hill, to the left, on the wrong side of the ocean, a dictatorship rises with an enclave close to the European coast and a there's a worrisome process on the right side, where another dictator has close contacts with the leaders of populist, racist, homophobic, islamophobic and antisemitic movements, who even gives financial assistance to those who try to accomplish the perfection of the new normal from the inside. Yes, from here it is easy to egnolish your own moral elevation, without guilt or feeling embarrassed for being a kind person. As the 78 year old Dame of Dutch talkshow tv wrote in her, just published, book; They were not German enemies, who took her Jewish father from home to be put on a transport to a concentration camp, but some of those neighbors who could and wanted quickly to conform to the new normal. Today the weird sawdust maker will do some chores outdoors and will deliver some produced expressions of creativity, completely unobtrusive in the refugees resort that Portugal slowly seems to become....
